Information used
The planned connection retrieves information from our own Amazon Ads account:
- Advertiser, campaign, advertised-product and targeting identifiers, settings and search terms.
- Performance reports such as impressions, clicks, spend, attributed orders and advertising sales.
- Account and authorisation information needed to connect to Amazon, including access credentials issued through Amazon’s authorisation process.
The intended reporting uses aggregate advertising results. It does not require individual customer order records, delivery addresses or payment details. Please do not send passwords or verification codes to our contact address.
If you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to include. Hosting this notice may also involve technical request data, such as an IP address, browser information and access time.
Why we use it
We use reporting to understand advertising costs and performance, compare our products and campaigns, and prepare internal analysis. We use account information to operate the connection and contact information to answer enquiries.
Where this involves personal information, our basis is our legitimate interest in administering our advertising, maintaining the service and responding to requests. The tool is not intended to make decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Service providers
The intended setup uses Amazon for account authorisation and Ads data, and OpenAI’s Codex service to assist with report analysis. Information included in those analyses is processed by OpenAI. Cloudflare hosts this public notice; hosting the notice does not itself give Cloudflare our Ads reports or Amazon credentials.
Providers may process information outside the UK. Their privacy information describes their own processing and international arrangements: Amazon, OpenAI and Cloudflare. Contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to this tool.
This page contains no forms, analytics scripts, advertising pixels or embedded third-party content. A hosting provider may process necessary delivery and security information.
Access and retention
The intended users are people authorised to manage SyncLab’s advertising. Amazon access depends on authorisation by the account owner. Ending authorisation stops future API access; it does not automatically erase previously saved reports.
Retention is based on whether records are still needed for reporting comparisons, resolving enquiries or meeting applicable record-keeping obligations. Provider-held records are also subject to the applicable provider terms and account settings. We review retained records periodically against these purposes.
Your rights
You can contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information. Which rights apply depends on the information and the circumstances.
You can object to processing of your personal information based on legitimate interests.
Send requests to admin@synclabcables.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
We will update this notice as the connection and its use develop. The date above identifies the latest version.
